About NT Precision
Launched in 1999 NT Precision is owned and run by its two Directors who between them have over 40 years experience in the engineering industry.
Managing Director Mike Norris - a qualified Engineer supports the business with both Engineering and Business Degrees and often visits clients to commission tooling and equipment or assist customers with process improvements.
Engineering Director Alan Ashcroft - also an Engineer, has worked in high volume automotive manufacturing for 30 years and has a wealth of experience designing and running complex process equipment.
From the earliest days NT Precision was commissioned to work on international orders from countries including the USA, Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and India. Initially most was in manufacture of tooling equipment for the automotive industry, but in recent years there has been a significant increase in demand for bespoke machine design and specialist manufacture for a wider range of manufacturing companies.
Today a much more comprehensive range of services are now on offer, from design and manufacture of process machines and components to contract machining and consultancy. NT Precision now works in a diverse range of industries - from automotive, precision tubing to high volume pencil manufacture.

“We offer more than just a machining service. Using our process and design background we can identify potential problems in some drawings and always work closely with the customers to ensure what we machine will meet the customers requirements, regardless if our “responsibility” is strictly limited to manufacturing to a drawing. Solving the customer’s problem is essential”says Alan Ashcroft, Engineering Director.
