NT Precision LtdFounded in 1999, NT Precision Ltd initially specialised in the manufacture of tooling equipment for the automotive industry. Over the past 15 years, we have diversified into the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery and assemblies across a range of sectors, with a strong focus on research and development equipment for the nuclear industry. Design and Project managementOur design team provides practical, engineering-led solutions to support both new developments and improvements to existing equipment. Working closely with our customers, we develop concepts, detailed designs and manufacturing drawings, and fully engineered solutions tailored to the application, with a strong focus on function, manufacturability and reliability. We support projects at any stage, from initial ideas and layout development through to detailed manufacturing drawings and full traceability in line with our ISO quality documentation. Whether developing bespoke machines, modifying existing equipment, or refining customer designs for manufacture, our engineers apply both technical knowledge and hands-on manufacturing experience. By integrating design with our in-house machining and fabrication capabilities, we ensure designs are optimised for production, reducing lead times, controlling costs, and delivering robust, fit-for-purpose equipment.
CNC MachiningOur CNC machining department is equipped with a range of advanced CNC lathes and 3- and 4-axis machining centres, enabling us to manufacture precision components efficiently and consistently. From one-off development parts through to small and medium batch production, we combine modern equipment with experienced machinists to deliver high-quality results across a wide range of materials. We specialise in complex and technically demanding components, working to tight tolerances and supporting projects where accuracy, repeatability, and reliability are critical. Our flexible machining capability allows us to support both standalone component manufacture and fully integrated project delivery.
Welding and FabricationOur welding and fabrication facilities provides comprehensive forming and welding capability, including rolling, bending, and precision forming of sheet and plate. This allows us to produce complete fabricated assemblies in-house, maintaining quality and control throughout the manufacturing process. We are particularly experienced in working with thin gauge materials and intricate fabrications, where attention to detail and careful handling are essential. From small, complex fabrications to larger welded assemblies, our team delivers high-quality workmanship across a broad range of products, supporting both bespoke one-offs and repeatable project requirements.
Quality and TraceabilityQuality and traceability are embedded throughout our engineering and manufacturing processes. Operating in accordance with our ISO 9001 quality management system, we maintain clear documentation and control from initial enquiry through to final delivery. We provide comprehensive documentation where required, including Certificates of Conformity, material certification, and relevant testing or inspection reports. Our processes ensure components and assemblies are fully traceable, supporting the requirements of regulated industries such as Nuclear and Defence. Inspection is carried out throughout manufacture to ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and applicable standards, delivering confidence in the quality and integrity of the finished product.
